Dr. Reed is a certified marital and family therapist counseling adults and senior citizens for marital discord and sexual dysfunctions at Wayne Counseling Center, and for bereavement at the Middleton Center for Pastoral Care and Counseling in the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.

He uses phone consults and/or house calls where office visits are difficult, and leads two monthly grief support groups at the Middleton Center.

Dr. Reed has been in the field for over 40 years and was in academic medicine at the Tulane Medical School, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and Jefferson Medical College. He was associate director of the Marriage Council of Philadelphia (now the Council on Relationships) when he entered private practice. He is a retired member of the American Association of Marital and Family Therapists and other professional groups.

Appointment hours are weekdays and evenings. Fees are paid when service is rendered unless other arrangements are made in advance.
